Airbility Unveils Next-Generation eVTOL at ADEX 2025

First Public Reveal of AB-U10, Full Lineup Including AB-U60 and AB-M1300 on Display
Dual Exhibition at Independent Booth and New Technology Hall Showcases Technology and Vision

Future advanced air mobility (AAM) solutions company Airbility announced that it will participate in the Seoul International Aerospace & Defense Exhibition (Seoul ADEX 2025), to be held from October 20 to 25 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Goyang, Korea, where it will present its next-generation manned and unmanned aerial solutions based on electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) technology.

During the exhibition, Airbility will showcase its vision for next-generation air mobility and its core innovative technologies at two locations: an independent booth and the New Technology Hall. At its independent booth, Airbility will unveil to the public for the first time its 1.8-meter-class unmanned aircraft AB-U10, currently under development.

The AB-U10 is a tactical small unmanned aerial vehicle featuring a fixed-wing-based vertical takeoff and landing tilt-propulsion system. It is designed for rapid short-range reconnaissance and counter-drone missions. With high-speed flight capability and a net-gun capture system, the AB-U10 can physically neutralize hostile drones while minimizing secondary damage, providing an effective physical counter-UAS (c-UAS) solution.

Also on display at the independent booth will be the AB-U4 training platform and a scale model of the 3-meter-class AB-U60, allowing visitors to view Airbility’s technology evolution roadmap from small to medium-sized unmanned aircraft at a glance.

At the New Technology Hall, Airbility will exhibit the long-endurance unmanned aircraft AB-U60, a 1/15-scale model of the next-generation personal electric aircraft AB-M1300, and its core electric propulsion technology, the 15 kW Outrunner Ducted Fan (EDF).

The AB-U60 is an all-weather platform immediately applicable to high-risk public missions such as wildfire monitoring, maritime surveillance, and disaster relief, as well as defense applications including tactical reconnaissance and target identification. Notably, it adopts a “mothership” architecture capable of carrying and deploying small drones, enabling mid- to long-range strike, search, and c-UAS operations through real-time drone deployment.

The AB-M1300 is a two-seat eVTOL electric aircraft targeting commercialization in 2028, embodying Airbility’s vision for personal air mobility independent of traditional runway infrastructure. The 15 kW outrunner ducted fan, jointly developed under the leadership of the Korea Light Aircraft Research Association (KLARA) with Airbility’s participation, is a key low-noise, high-stability electric propulsion component. Its localization is expected to contribute to securing a stable domestic supply chain for core aviation components.

Airbility CEO Ryu Taekyu stated,
“ADEX 2025 is a critical stage for showcasing Airbility’s technological capabilities and future aviation vision,” adding, “With the first public unveiling of the AB-U10 and our core next-generation manned and unmanned aircraft lineup, we aim to demonstrate our competitiveness in the global air mobility market.”
